Introduction:

BIG Gyan Hostels are  residential facilities for college students and young unmarried professionals whereby they integrate spiritual discipline with their academic / professional career. Systematic training programs for the youth are held based on philosophy, character development and leadership skills.

These hostels an exclusive opportunity for young students and working professionals to get a firsthand experience of the Krishna conscious lifestyle. It is to be remarked that this is NOT just another residential facility like a typical hostel / lodge. The motivation of anyone wishing to reside here should be to learn and practice the process of devotional service to the Lord, along with pursuing his usual academic / professional duties.

 Eligibility Criteria and Rules & Regulations

• The students must refrain himself from meat eating, any kind of gambling, intoxication and illicit activities ( watching obscene movies, indulgence in adultery)

• They must be chanting at least one rounds of Hare Krishna Mahamantra.

• They should have knowledge of Krishna Conscious Philosophy

• After getting himself enrolled in hostel, it is compulsory for him to attend the morning program(6:30 am to 7:15 am) and evening program(8 pm to 8:30 pm).

• He should be present in the festivals and should help in the various services during such programs.
